RICAIP is a joint project focused on industry 4.0. It aims to develop new, smart and secure solutions for distributed manufacturing in the Industry 4.0 environment.

I created online and offline presentations of the project, including a responsive website, social media templates, and presentations for conferences about AI and robotics. I also took care of print, for example, rollups, fliers, and annual reports.

Research and Analysis

I conducted interviews with key stakeholders including project managers, researchers, and potential users to understand their needs, goals, and pain points. In this project I focused on increasing the visibility of research projects, improving user engagement, and providing easy access to resources.

Design Process

  • I developed a clear site map to ensure logical navigation and ease of access to key sections like Projects, Publications, Events, and About Us.
  • Created wireframes for key pages and developed interactive prototypes to test and iterate on design concepts.
  • Then I designed a clean, modern look that reflects the innovative nature of RICAIP project. I used high-quality images and graphics to enhance visual appeal and user engagement.
  • Organized content and navigation to prioritize important information and ensure clarity.

Implementation and Testing

  • I developed the designs into a functional website and implemented responsive design to ensure usability across various devices, screen sizes and browsers.
  • During and after the development I conducted usability testing sessions with real users to identify issues and gather feedback.
  • Based on feedback I iterated on the design to improve navigation, readability, and overall user experience.
  • Lastly, I continuously worked on optimizing the website performance and SEO

Results and Impact

  • Post-launch analytics showed increased user engagement, with a notable rise in page views and time spent on the site year by year.
  • I also got a positive feedback from users about the improved navigation and clarity of information.
  • The redesigned website helped in better showcasing RICAIP’s projects and initiatives, leading to more inquiries and collaboration requests from industry partners and academic institutions.
